Outfits lately

I used to always spend my splurges on my pants. It just seemed like the right thing to do. Expensive shirts – especially expensive tees – seemed like such a waste.
I don’t really know what or why I had a change of heart. Maybe it was the way my cheap shirts would warp or turn into tissue paper after one wash. Maybe it was the hourds of cute jeans I found at H&M & Target for under $40 bucks. Maybe it was the fact that my legs are kind of easy to please but my middle needs some special attention. Maybe it’s the fact that the older I get the less I want trendy pieces and the more I want classics I can re-wear and re-wear. Or perhaps it was the fact that every shirt I find ever is too see through.

Likely, a mix of all these things. At any rate. That’s how I’ve been allotting my budget these days and I’m loving it.

Also, I’ve been looking for a flattering non-see through white shirt FOREVER. I was starting to believe that was a thing of the past until I found this one. It’s not completely opaque but it’s soo much more so that any other I have found. Also the neckline is just wide and deep enough to look flattering and not be showing my entire chest with one pull of Billy’s fists.
