I have 8 brothers & sisters.
And my parents weren’t rich, so going to the movies…all of us…didn’t happen often, or ever.
Every once in a while, though, one of my folks would take us on a date.
I looked forward to these dates for weeks.
One in particular that I remember clearly was the night my dad took my to see Beauty & The Beast.
I wore my favorite Red polka dot dress, got ice cream before the show and promptly after our viewing announced it as: THE BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!
I’ve yet to lose my soft spot for my dad (Doug, I lovingly call him Dougo) or for my Beauty & the Beast.
It takes major self control to watch it without speaking and singing with every. single. word.
In short: I chose Belle for this weeks makeup look.
It’s really pretty makeup for whatever though, just inspired by and perfect for a costume for Beauty herself.
I used:
Maskcara IIID foundation & blush {coming soon! Monday’s post will fill you in on all the details!)
Loreal True Match Powder in Deep Warm
Sephora Liquid Liner
Covergirl Perfect Blend Liner in Mink
Loreal Voluminous Mascara
Ardell Wispies Lashes
Brown Eye contacts
Happy Weekend!!

October 18, 2013 at 7:18 amIn love with this site! Thanks so much for this wealth of gorgeous information. I have learned so much from you. One thing I am struggling with is lining my lips with the mink eyeliner. Any tips for making the color look natural like yours? How often do you touch up your lipstick/gloss when you line with the mink liner?

October 18, 2013 at 5:22 pmCara, you are a Ray of Sunshine. There were three of us plus my mom. She was a single mother and we were never allowed to dress up for Holloween. And if we did go out, we used our own clothing, so I am not at all creative with dressing up. However I can see you as a Fairy sprinkling happiness all over…then coming down do to make over before you transition into a business tycoon to make $$$ (which in my opinion is a great thing for us women). One day, You will do my make up and help me get everything straight so I’ll understand my coloring better. Have Fun. I turn 50 on the 28th…wish me Happy Birthday!

October 18, 2013 at 5:29 pmit’s me again, Cara, you are always beautiful what ever you do. I love the brown contact on you. You are a wonderful brown eye girl, like me. I went through all your Monday Make Over’s and I think I lovere your Sister-in-laws the best…she looked so beautiful afterwards…although all the women looked wonderful. I loved her the most.
