I’m all about growing your hair out.
I’ve even written all the tricks I know on speeding up the process (here) but for some of us…even with all of the tricks it still
takes
FOR-EV-ER
Lucky, there are options.
The best of those options (IMO) would be good old clip-ins.
Here’s why I love clip-ins the most:
Cost: Clip-ins are FAR cheaper than any other type of hair extension.
Damage: All hair extensions are going to cause some type of damage. It’s just a fact that having hair hanging on your natural hair is going to cause some breakage. Since the clip ins are temporary and can be taken out when you sleep, shower, work out etc. they are far less damaging than any other type (in my opinion)
Time: When I had super long hair of my own I had a roommate who used clip-ins. I found myself being jealous that she could curl her extensions once and they’d stay curly for well over a week, so while I was stuck drying and styling my large amount of hair she was done in half the time by just clipping in most of hers. It is nice to have your hair stuck to your head, don’t get me wrong, but there are perks to being able to pull it out. On top of that there’s no appointment to get your hair put in and out.
Variety! I am a HUGE fan of variety. I can never decide if I want my hair light, or dark, mid length or REALLY long.
The only way I can have all of that as an option at anytime? Clip-ins. My hair can’t take ANY coloring at all for probably years to come at this point so any change up I want to see there will have to be done with lacedhair.
But none of that does you any good if they don’t look natural and blend well.
Here’s my best advice for making that happen.
Get a quality Product: For a VERY long time I was on a hunt for high quality clip ins. I really didn’t think they existed. I’d tried so many that just didn’t blend as well as I wanted, last as long, or behave like hair on my head!
When I met Lacy her company sold semi-permanent extensions. Immediately I asked her if she’d ever sell that same silky, gorgeous hair in clips as well. I was thrilled when she told me she was already working on it.
I got a set as soon as they came to her. (I was pretty much stalking her about it everday. I think she got sick of telling me they weren’t there yet:)
They are BY FAR the best extensions Ive ever used. The hair is silky, doesn’t tangle easy, has longevity and really is just the nicest hair available.

Match your Color: The color is crucial. One good tip: get the closest color to yours (erring on the lighter side) , if it’s the right tone but just a lighter shade you can either have a subtle ombre (my regular clips are slightly lighter than my head hair) or you can take your hair to the stylist with you and while they are touching up your color, have them touch up your extra hair too!
A good cut: It’s really hard to match if you have a blunt haircut. Some subtle layers make a huge difference and make the hair blend much better. Here again don’t be afraid to bring your clips to your haircut appointment so your stylist can blend them.
How to: Since she’s the real expert I had lacy show you how to work the clip ins in a video!

October 1, 2013 at 5:06 pmI have thin hair that i color blonde and it damages it quite a bit so some extensions would help me to not damage it so badly:)

October 1, 2013 at 5:44 pmHaving a set of extensions would be awesome, I don’t have the finances to pay for my own right now but have researched laced extensions and love them. I have naturally blonde hair that I have been trying to grow out. Finding hair that matches is very hard.

October 2, 2013 at 5:35 pmMy hair is so thin and fine and I get so jealous of my long-haired friends:( my hair is literally unable to grow past my shoulders its aweful. These extensions look GOERGEOUS and I would LOVE to have some but sadly I cannot afford them right now so it would mean a lot if I could win!!!

October 2, 2013 at 3:56 pmHi there! I have been following Cara’s blog for a year now and all I can say is that it truly is wonderful. I learnt so much about how to be and look healthy (thank you so so much, dear Cara), but I’ve always had a huge problem with growing out my hair (I’m sure you know what I mean). I can’t even tell you how much time I’ve spent styling my hair, just to get it to look decent, dreaming of those long shiny locks every girl wishes for and yet, all I do is damage my hair and at the end I end up having to cut it. I also think that clip ins are such a healthy way of looking gorgeous, as I don’t need to style them as often as my natural hair, but it’s so hard to find good hair clips in europe (I’m from Portugal)! Once again, thank you for the chance to win 😉

October 1, 2013 at 6:21 pmYes thank you!

October 3, 2013 at 7:56 amLaced hair would make my life soooo much easier. My hair is not very nice,it’s super tangled all the time and it ends up in a bun almost every day. I’ve had my eye on I clip-in since Lacey first introduced them to her line. Since I am a grad student I work at a crappy job and can’t afford them, yet. I would love to win these. Please pick me and make my life better.
Julianne
October 1, 2013 at 4:46 amI’m a busy mom & student who doesn’t always have time to give my hair the attention it needs to get long. These look so easy, and something I could do quickly!! Love Cara and all her amazing tutorials, and would so so appreciate an opportunity to try these! 🙂

October 1, 2013 at 4:48 amSometimes I’m very jealous of non-redheads! There’s no such thing as clip-ins that blend with my natural color.
I’m always impressed by how natural Laced hair looks. I saw a lot of bad clip ins when I was in Vegas but the Laced hair isn’t plastic-y and shiny looking like those were.
I would have loved to get a shot of the back of Lacy’s head when she was attaching one of the back pieces.

October 1, 2013 at 5:11 amI feel your feels 🙁 I’m a natural ginger too and I just recently got a horrific hair cut and really want to try clip ins but can’t find anything to match. I told my stylist no length, and after my hair was almost at my waist it is now above boob level 🙁
Kristen
October 1, 2013 at 6:34 amTotally agree with both of you! I have pretty long hair but want it even longer and finding extensions that match is impossible and I haven’t even found a salon that can match my natural color without it looking obviously fake! 🙁
Sabrina
October 1, 2013 at 11:34 amYup, I love my red hair but there is no matching it with a clip-in (or any other hair for that matter). And I’ve never found any dye to match it either. Oh well, I guess I can keep dreaming- you ladies have fun.
Sarah
October 1, 2013 at 4:42 pmYeah, I would have liked to see the back of her head as well. I’ve never had extensions and have fine wispy hair that simply looks anorexic when long. I’ve been thinking of trying some as I’m grown out my hair now.
Lacedhair
October 2, 2013 at 1:47 pmHey you red headed babes. I am working on getting a natural red head clip in!! It’s hard because there are so many unique shades that you beauties have, you can get the blonde ones and tone them to match your color!! Or email me some pics of your hair and I’ll see if I can specially order y’all some!! [email protected]

October 1, 2013 at 4:53 amThe only chance to really see how the clips really work was in fast motion on one side of her head. I’m a super newbie and would really love to have seen up close how the clips work, especially on the back of her head.
Cami
October 1, 2013 at 5:55 amI agree! I have never used clip-in’s either, so it would have been nice to get a close view of how she was doing it.
Kristen
October 2, 2013 at 7:38 amI agree! I’ve never used clip ins before either and was hoping the video would show a close up of her clipping them onto the back…

October 1, 2013 at 4:53 amThese are so awesome! Can you feel them? Does it ever get annoying having the clips or the extra weight of the hair in there?

October 1, 2013 at 4:55 amPs…I totally thought that was your natural hair this whole time reading your blog!

October 1, 2013 at 5:02 amLast Christmas I cut all my hair off for locks of love, although I’m glad to have donated to charity I’ve missed my long hair terribly! Its been 10 months and my hair is no where hear the length it used to be. I would just die to have some i-do clip ins! They look completely natural and are so versatile.
Thanks for all the beauty advice Cara!

October 1, 2013 at 5:04 amI’m trying to grow my hair out and extensions would make it easier.
Erica
October 1, 2013 at 5:05 amSince I can’t get my hair to grow these would be great! One question I am more the golden (darker blonde) and I don’t want to dye my hair so would the highlight/lowlight blonde be a good option or since I don’t already have highlight/lowlights would the darker blonde be a safer (natural vs fake) buy?
Lacy
October 3, 2013 at 10:07 amErica, email me some pics of your hair to [email protected] I will give you any advice on matching them!

October 1, 2013 at 5:19 amI have tried everything to grow my hair out, and it’s just sort of STUCK! I would love these for a little extra oooomphh 🙂
Melissa
October 1, 2013 at 5:21 amI have had some recent medical issues come up that left my hair looking thin and stringy. I have such a difficult time getting it to what I want it to and look healthy! I think clip-ins would be a great option to help my hair out and help me feel better. I didn’t realize how easy it was to put them in, I always thought it was something you had to go to the salon for.

October 1, 2013 at 5:24 amI would love to have some laced hair extensions! I have been looking into buying some for months, trying to save those pennies! I have extremely thick hair and it takes me forever to do it, no matter what style. I think laced hair extensions would be perfect way for my hair to look much longer rather than trying to keep growing it out and spending less time on my hair would be an amazing thing!
Liz
October 1, 2013 at 5:25 amI’ve always wanted a nice set of extensions for my sloppy hair!

October 1, 2013 at 5:41 amI am always looking for a way to stay put together without the hassle of styling and drying my heavy, thick hair. This could be that option I am looking for. Maybe a good way to show clip ins are not just for people with thin hair… as mine is long and thick.

October 1, 2013 at 5:54 amI would LOVE Laced Hair because I am in love with having long hair and got a bad cut leaving me MUCH shorter than I wanted… I have been looking for something that would look more natural and feel and look like my real hair rather than something off a horse. October 1, 2013 at 6:04 amI have realy thin hair and have used traditional extensions a lot in the past, but it`s so damaging for your hair! October 1, 2013 at 6:06 amMy hair is sooooo thin and fine and it grows so slowly. I also have a big cowlick on the back of my head, so whether I wear my hair straightened or naturally wavy, if I sleep on it… I’ve got to wash it the next day. There is no getting around it because my cowlick gets pressed down into lookin’ like a big bald spot. It’s really sucky. I would love to have some clip-ins so I can opt out of washing it everyday!

October 1, 2013 at 6:15 amBeen looking in to getting extentions…… My hair was longer, but during the summer I used sun in (dumb) and my hair has got shorter, and shorter do to the fried ends. Scared to cut it or I will end up with a mullett do to my multi layers some are getting pretty short. So I know extentions would help me look better, and feel better 😀

October 1, 2013 at 6:16 amPost-pregnancy, my hair has been awful. It breaks easily and is really fuzzy, so I’ve been keeping it shorter, and these would be great to use!

October 1, 2013 at 6:38 amVariety! I’m always scared to change my actual hair bc I rarely like it

October 1, 2013 at 6:39 amI would love to try these. I’ve really been wanting to try extensions but I thought it would be too hard! This looks completely doable!!
Kristina
October 1, 2013 at 6:40 amThank you so much for posting about clip ins! I have been trying to grow my hair our for years and it simply won’t grow past a certain length. I’ve been wanting to get clip ins but weren’t sure if they would look natural. I also have naturally wavy hair so I would have to straighten my hair to get these to work-they won’t curl, right?!
I also noticed I’m not on your email list anymore since you’ve updated your site. I’m going to figure out how to do it but wanted to let you know that for some reason this happened (and hopefully isn’t happening to other people as well!).
Katie
October 1, 2013 at 6:41 amThe speed and ease of using them!! I have curly hair that I just cut (bad me!) because it takes so much time and energy to style it… this looks like a great option!

October 1, 2013 at 6:50 amAfter totally regretting getting my hair cu collar length, these would be the perfect fix! They seem so natural and easy to use!

October 1, 2013 at 6:50 amGreat video, I am finally starting to to my hair grow, but a little extra length (ok a lot) and volume would be so great. Thank you for a chance to win! And sort of unrelated I LOVE Lacy’s hair color, makes me want darker hair instead of my super light blonde:-)
Becca
October 1, 2013 at 6:53 amAaahhhh thank you for posting this! I have long hair, but just not the thickness I’d like to have. And I have the same issue you have – I hate having to spend hours doing my hair multiple times per week. I have a one-year old, so I usually end up throwing my hair up into a ponytail because it takes so much maintenance to make it look pretty every day, and we both know one-year-old boys just do not have the patience for Mommy to do her hair. 😉 I would LOVE to try these extensions to make it look fuller and have more styling options! I am praying I win these extensions!!! *presses hands together and sends a prayer to the LacedHairExtension gods*
Angie T.
October 1, 2013 at 6:54 amLove ur blog….who doesn’t want long, thick beautiful hair! Thanks for chance to win.
Kellie
October 1, 2013 at 6:56 amI’ve always wanted to try extensions, but I’ve never been sure it’d be worth the money which is why I’d love to win them instead!
Rachel P.
October 1, 2013 at 6:56 ami would love to try extensions! my hair is long, but it’s tough to hold a curl, so it would be interesting to see how pre-curling extensions would change my beauty routine. also, i love to play with color and was thinking of getting lowlights for the fall/winter, but clip-in extensions would definitely be a less harmful approach.
Ashley
October 1, 2013 at 6:57 amI have been trying to grow my hair out for forever but it seems to be at a stopping point 🙁

October 1, 2013 at 6:59 amI’ve always wanted to try extensions!

October 1, 2013 at 6:59 amI would love the hair extension…as a mom of 3, all under the age of 21/2 yrs (I have twins that are a year old) I dont have a lot if time to do my hair. Plus, with the pregnancies and hormones change I lost a lot of hair! i miss my long thick hair 🙂

October 1, 2013 at 7:00 amCan you please explain how to purchase Laced Extensions? I’ve looked at their website before and I’ve never been able to figure out what I would need to order. What do you recommend as a start up kit? Do you need 2 pieces? 1 piece? 5 pieces? Also, how do you select a color without seeing them in person? What product(s) are you wearing in the pictures? Is it all one piece or several?
Rachel S
October 1, 2013 at 7:11 amOoookayyy…. guess I should have watched the video first before commenting! Anyways, I think I was getting confused thinking that the “I-tip” and the “Keratin” on the Laced website were also clip ins. I guess they’re not? So the clip ins just come as one set, not in individual pieces. Got it. Still… any tips on choosing a color without seeing in person?
Lacy
October 6, 2013 at 8:03 pmRachel!! You can email me [email protected] with any questions!! You can also email me pictures of your hair and I can help you to match it!!

October 1, 2013 at 7:03 amLOVE! My hair is always difficult to manage and with a 3 year old, 2 year old and 1 year old I’m tired of settling for buns!
Katie
October 1, 2013 at 7:03 amI love variety and sometimes too much. I love changing up looks whether it be color, length and style and when all that happens to hair. Well you know it doesn’t end well.

October 1, 2013 at 7:05 amI am a stay at home mom and I I love thick luxurious long hair! However, I cut off all my hair my first year in college and it has taken 6 long years to get my hair longer than shoulder length. It just takes FOREVER to grow.I would love having these extensions but living with a husband who is more accountant than man makes that desire difficult.Don’t get me wrong, I adore him to pieces, but fashion and style are not the first thing on his must have list and these types of purchases are often a small battle ground for us. It would be awesome to win this giveaway and save myself from one less fashion fight. Maybe to winning some luscious locks will make me irresistible and he won’t be able to say no to my make up purchase list and I can also score some much needed makeup swag in the process! Here’s hoping!

October 1, 2013 at 7:07 amWould love to try these!! I have long hair now, but really like the idea of the fullness that they add! So fun!!!
Silvia
October 1, 2013 at 7:08 amWow, those extensions look great! I’ve been looking for some nice ones since suffering with intense hair loss due to thyroid issues, but the good ones are always out of my price range… These look fabulous in 🙂

October 1, 2013 at 7:10 amThis is awesome! Before I always thought clip ins were so tacky (and they probably still are if you’re using poor quality), but these look great! I have a small head so I can’t have my hair much longer than it is without looking weird, but I could definitely see myself using these for fun, intricate updos!

October 1, 2013 at 7:10 amI kid you not when i say that I have been on the “hunt” recently for affordable, high quality clip ins. But i seriously hesitate ordering from some random place on the net. Its still a bundle of cash. So thank you for posting this! I need some hair!
Samantha
October 1, 2013 at 7:11 amThese are beautiful! I am wondering how they do in humidity, I live in Honduras and am constantly battling with my hair and the humidity… would love to be able to add length and make the process less time consuming!
Lacy
October 6, 2013 at 8:08 pmExtensions do better in humidity than regular hair!
Alyssa Whitney
October 1, 2013 at 7:13 amI just recently cut 8 inches off of my long, beautiful locks. I would LOVE a set of these to help with hair-separation anxiety!!
Elise Bright
October 1, 2013 at 7:16 amI bought some kind of cheap clip ins, I like how easy they are, but they feel sort of yuckie. Love love love to try the really good ones.
Jen
October 1, 2013 at 7:16 amDo they feel heavy on your head? Do people notice when your hair changes lengths from one day to the next or do you have to wear them everyday? I have thin hair and I am always worried about the clips poking through and being seen. I bought a cheap set on Amazon and dyed them to match my hair color, they look pretty good, but I am too nervous to wear them in public. Plus they feel heavy on my head. Would love a set of really good ones.
Shayli Gourley
October 1, 2013 at 7:16 amLove this! I feel like I have been trying for years for my hair to grow, and as a fairly newlywed, I can’t really afford the super expensive hair extensions 😉 Thanks for the chance to win!!!

October 1, 2013 at 7:22 amMy hair is finally the length that I want, but it’s so pathetically fine and thin! I’ve been wanting to try clip-in extensions for a long time but good quality, natural-looking extensions are hard to come by. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the opportunity to try these! They are so beautiful!
Sarah Q

October 1, 2013 at 7:25 amWould LOVE these. I have lost loads of hair after each of my babies (4) and my once-thick hair is a mess. Everyone says “chop it off!” but I just can’t part with long hair and this would help!

October 1, 2013 at 7:26 amI’ve always been blessed with extra long, healthy, blonde hair. But lately it’s been showing some major signs of heat damage, (it is naturally stick straight, yuck) to the point where my hair lady who has been doing my hair my entire life almost cried. I would love some extensions to give me some texture without the damage!

October 1, 2013 at 7:29 amI recently went cut my hair into a long bob and really want to grow my hair out. I usually grow my hair out for about 2-3 years and chop it off and donate it. In the end I end playing with my hair a lot in between the cuts, this luscious extensions will just add some flair until my next cut. Love the new site, btw.

October 1, 2013 at 7:47 amI was JUST talking to my girlfriend about how much I’d like to try extentions…but I don’t want to commit to their upkeep. These are the PERFECT alternative. Thanks for the great info and the chance to win! 🙂 xo

Thank you again for such a great blog and helping so many of us who are on a budget and clueless where to start with some of our beauty routines!

October 1, 2013 at 7:58 amThank you for this! I have long been tempted to try clip ins but get so overwhelmed with the choices and am always terrified that everyone would be able to tell/see the clips. Feeling much more confident now to take on the world of fake beautiful hair, :).
Katy Harvey
October 1, 2013 at 7:59 amI have total hair ADD. I finally got it past my shoulders and then whacked it back up to a long bob. I would love to have some clip ins so I could rock a longer look, since I’m not sure I’ll ever get it on my own! Thanks for the chance to win them.

October 1, 2013 at 8:01 amI had extensions a couple of years ago and I LOVED them! I wore them for my wedding, military balls, and just regular days too. You can do so much with the ! Sadly mine fell apart and got destroyed by my dog. 🙁 I’ve been trying to grow my hair out for six years! Thanks Cara for all the tips! Love your blog!
Shirley Erasmus
October 1, 2013 at 8:01 amHi Cara =) I’m not much of an extension girl myself- I’m a hair toucher- such a bad habit so I think I would just wiggle it out of place! But I would really love a tutorial on how you do you hair in the ‘before’ extensions picture. It looks so cute!
Michelle M
October 1, 2013 at 8:02 amI would love to win!!! I have such thin hair and as a busy mommy its always too time consuming to always curl and tease for voluptuous hair. Hope I win 🙂

October 1, 2013 at 8:05 amI have always wanted to try hair extension but the price and maintainence always kept me from doing this. I recently found out I have a thyroid issue and my hair has been falling out and just looking really bad lately. I would love to have longer stronger beautiful hair!!

October 1, 2013 at 8:08 amI would love to be able to add quick volume and length! I have been playing around with the idea of clip ins for a while and would LOVE to win these!!
Rebecca
October 1, 2013 at 8:09 amI would LOVE some new clip-ins! My hair is going through some major changes as I’m getting older, and all the heat styling and coloring isn’t helping it grow! I’ve always wanted super long hair, but it gets too damaged and I need to cut it 🙁
Summer P.
October 1, 2013 at 8:10 amI would love to be able to add some volume! I had a baby 6 months ago, so my hair has really thinned out. And I’ve never used extensions, so it would be really cool to try them!

October 1, 2013 at 8:15 amI have wanted clip ins for the longest time! My hair is so thick and unmanageable that I usually end up cutting it all off!
Kayla Olson
October 1, 2013 at 8:15 amI’d love to get some nice extensions!! I’m about to be a mom for the first time-and having something to help me look more put together!!
Brittany
October 1, 2013 at 8:16 amI was thinking about getting clip-ins the other day! Great minds think I alike. I think I am going to get the highlight low light ones when they are back in stock.
Lacy
October 1, 2013 at 2:46 pmHey Brittany there was a glitch on the site, but that color is in Stock right now!!! so sorry for any confusion!!
Julie
October 1, 2013 at 8:18 amI have always wanted to try extensions! I am an avid exerciser who sweats crazy amounts! haha. So I get tired of washing and styling my hair everyday, maybe extensions would help that process!
Brittany
October 1, 2013 at 8:18 amI also wanted to say i love the photo of you infront of your new art work in your make-up room. I love Mandi too!
Meredith
October 1, 2013 at 8:19 amMy hair is long but rather fine so I have been considering extension to add some volume, but scared of how it might damage my hair. Clip-ins seem to be the perfect solution 🙂
Christianna
October 1, 2013 at 8:21 amI’d love to try clip-ins myself, just to try, but I am actually more interested in them for my mom, as her hair has really thinned out as she has aged. She would love to be able to try these. She has always been skeptical about using ‘fake hair’, but is really discouraged that her hair is so much thinner than it used to be.
Jenny Eidenbrook
October 1, 2013 at 8:22 amI am just dying over these extensions! Until watching the video, I never knew how easy the Laced clip in extensions could be, or how utterly gorgeous. These are a must-have, I cannot wait to get my own!!
Nicole
October 1, 2013 at 8:22 amLove the post, Cara! Question: is one set all you need for a full head of hair? I usually have to buy two from Sally’s..
Lacy
October 1, 2013 at 2:49 pmNicole in most cases 1 set is enough for a full head, our top weft is thicker and that helps blend into the hair! Let me know if you have anymore questions!! [email protected]
Jennifer Garner
October 1, 2013 at 8:23 amI’m with you on the long hair is not easy to manage thing. I grew it out to 36″ twice, but it was just long and heavy and looked awful. Layers are definitely the way to go with longer hair–not so much bulk to wash and style or dry or weigh down your head (really long hair can get HEAVY!). I finally cut it with layers but wish the longest lengths were a few inches longer. I also would love clip ins so that the longest layers would not show splits and other damage. To have healthy long layers the length you want would be a dream. And your hair will be “thicker” and more full, since you essentially have “more” hair! Thanks for sharing a product you love.
Austianna Quick Wilson
October 1, 2013 at 8:23 amI’ve been looking for clip ins, thank you for the recommendation!!
taryn
October 1, 2013 at 8:23 amI’ve so been wanting to try these!
Deb
October 1, 2013 at 8:24 amHow many clip-ins come in the $249 set? What exactly do I need to buy to create the same look as in the video for example? I think the shop page in the laced website needs more details for each individual items, I was a little confused on what to purchase…. Thanks in advance!
ps: One more question! I have naturally curly hair, and I wear it curly most of the time. Will I be to have my hair stylist process the extensions to match my curls?
Deb
October 1, 2013 at 8:25 amSorry the last question was:
Will I be able to have my hair stylist process the extensions to match my curls?
Jillian
October 1, 2013 at 8:26 amI definitely think its easier to make extensions look more natural when you have dark hair….much haired to blend when youre blonde
Kessa Merrill
October 1, 2013 at 8:27 amOh I want these sooo bad 🙂

October 1, 2013 at 8:38 amAwesome giveaway! I’ve always wanted to try these!
Nicole
October 1, 2013 at 8:39 amI have naturally curly (frizzy), very fine, quite thin hair and it takes me FOR-E-VER to grow it. I’ve had hair extension in the past (not clip in) and I think it’s thinned my hair even more. I’m in the process of growing it and I desperately wish for long hair. I’ve thought about clip ins and so appreciate the chance to win some.
Roberta
October 1, 2013 at 8:39 amI have been trying to grow my hair out for 5 years now, and I cannot get the sides to grow longer than the top of my shoulders while the back grows just fine. If I don’t trim the back I look like I have a mullet. This clips would be great for the sides so I can actually have long hair again.

October 1, 2013 at 8:40 amThank you, this is a great giveaway! I’ve been wanting to try these extensions since you (Cara) first mentioned them, and I’m sure I’m not alone! I’ve had glue-in extensions before and the glue took forever to come out after I had them taken off. Plus I hated not being able to really scrub my scalp when I washed it.
These sound like the perfect way to get the look I want without ruining my hair (which I’ve worked really hard to keep healthy)! Thanks for the video – it’s nice to know that it’s quick and easy, even for someone like me!

October 1, 2013 at 8:41 amMy hair always looks stringy and gross when it’s long. Maybe this is what I need.

October 1, 2013 at 8:45 amIt’s been years of trying to grow out my hair. But no matter my system, I have struggled to get my hair to my ideal length. I’m always 3 to 4 inches shy. I’ve been wanting to try clip ins for sometime now, but with a limited budget, it’s hard to justify the cost. I would so love to win!
Chelsea
October 1, 2013 at 8:46 amI’ve been trying to grow my hair out for a while, some clip-in’s would be great in the meantime!!
MmeOizelle
October 1, 2013 at 8:46 amI have been looking into extensions more and more lately, so I got a finally got a set yesterday. I still haven’t received it. They are not as good quality as these though…

October 1, 2013 at 8:46 amI have been growing my hair of a while and these extensions would help a lot!
Heather Larson
October 1, 2013 at 8:50 amI would love to try these clip in extensions! I’m growing my hair out after cutting it off due to damage from one coloring two years ago. But the time it takes is so frustrating. The video is great but I would like to have seen the back of Lacey’s head as she put them in.
Coree
October 1, 2013 at 8:53 amWould loooove to try these out. My hair is long but so thin!
Laura England
October 1, 2013 at 8:54 amI just chopped my hair and I’m missing the length! Plus my hair takes SOO long to grow that this would be so awesome to have!
Shannon
October 1, 2013 at 8:55 amThanks for the post! I have felt like this for YEARS! I am always “growing my hair out” I use that lightly because I feel like it hasn’t gotten past a certain length forever!! Also thanks for the chance to get some free clip ins. Hope I win!
Sincerely,
A hopeless long hair dreamer
Janna
October 1, 2013 at 8:55 amI have a hard time getting volume in my crown area with my long hair, but if I had extensions I could cut my real hair shorter to get more volume!
Kate
October 1, 2013 at 8:56 amwould so LOVE to try these. Been trying to grow out my hair for a couple years, its tough but loving the length, just wish it was thicker and not so string-y looking.
cfrantz775Courtney
October 1, 2013 at 8:59 amI feel like my hair has just stopped growing, would love to add these for a few more inches!! Thanks for the chance 🙂
Alex Gold
October 1, 2013 at 8:59 amThese look so nice. I have naturally curly hair. Do you think that would make it easier or harder to blend in a clip in?
Megan
October 1, 2013 at 8:59 amI have (unfortunately) completely damaged my hair by getting ombre that is so light on my ends. I love how it looks, but my ends are insanely dry. I always hesitate to get it trimmed because I want to keep the color on the ends, but my hairstylist ends up having to cut over an inch off every time because I put off the hair cut for so long. These ombre extensions will allow me to keep my color looking light at the ends but also save my poor, damaged bleached (real) ends! Maskcara I love your blog, and so much of my beauty routine is now inspired by you! I got Brun for my mom, and her brows now look amazing! 🙂
Nikole
October 1, 2013 at 9:00 amCara i love the new color on you~ i am obsessed with the Ido clip ins! I have been following you and Lacey and cant wait to get a pair of my own!!!
kt62587
October 1, 2013 at 9:00 amI have been painfully waiting for my hair to grow and I looooove clip ins!! I also unfortunately have pretty fine hair so clip ins add so much volume. These look to die for I’d love to try them out!
Jenni R
October 1, 2013 at 9:00 amI NEEDED this video. Thank you!

October 1, 2013 at 9:01 amMy mother is a hairdresser so I am basically her guinea pig on new color and cut techniques and I never mind because who doesn’t love having a new style and if you absolutely hate it, you can get it fixed for free!? But after all these years of dying and cutting, my hair takes FOREVER to grow and I’ve tried glue in, fused, basically every type of hair extension but clip in simply because there are no great clip in brands I could find that didn’t look fake. I think these extensions would definitely do the trick 🙂
Allison
October 1, 2013 at 9:02 amI would love these!
Danielle Bevan
October 1, 2013 at 9:04 amMy hair started falling out and breaking off after I had my baby, so I cut off six inches. I would love the option of having my long hair back. Thanks for the chance!

October 1, 2013 at 9:10 amBeen looking for quality hair extentions! So glad I found this!
Julianne Burr
October 1, 2013 at 9:10 amI have the thickest hair you can ever dream of. It takes FOREVER to do. I would love to just clip in some curls and be good to go. It would take about 60 minutes off of my “getting dressed” routine. Can’t think of anything better!!
Mary
October 1, 2013 at 9:11 amAfter having 2 babies in 2 years my hair has become very thin and I would love to try these out. Thank you for the chance to win

October 1, 2013 at 9:13 amI would LOVE to get some clip-ins! I have damaged hair and it doesnt grow past a certain point, so having these would be freaking amazing! And also, I love your blog!!
Randi
October 1, 2013 at 9:14 amMy hair takes FOR-EV-ER to grow out. Once I had my son, my hair started to grow like crazy (until all the extra hormones were out of my system). It was time for a “trim” and when I came out, the lady had lobbed 6″ off my hair. It’s now mid shoulder length and I’m going crazy. I feel like a page boy! Clip ins would be the perfect solution to the cut I’ve got going on right now.
shantal
October 1, 2013 at 9:17 amAs a mother of two young babies these would make my “getting ready” easy and faster 🙂 I love the natural look and versatility they give you! Love your blog Cara !

October 1, 2013 at 9:19 amI love your blog and have enjoyed watching your hair journey from dark to light to dark. With my short hair I don’t feel there is as much opportunity for playing and changing it as often as the long haired girls can. I would LOVE some Laced Hair extensions to be able to play along too!
Shannon
October 1, 2013 at 9:21 amI’ve been lusting after some Lacy extensions for a LONNNG time!! Pick me pick me pick me!

October 1, 2013 at 9:23 amI would love a chance to win these clip in hair extensions. Like most, I have been growing out my hair ever since I chopped it off post-wedding. I’ve never tried good quality clip ins and feel like they would make a huge difference

October 1, 2013 at 9:24 amThank you so much for the opportunity to win these! Having clip-ins would make doing my hair so much easier. These look so gorgeous.

October 1, 2013 at 9:24 amI have SUPER long hair, always have. But I have a toddler and a busy life and its ALWAYS in a bun, The option to have shorter hair and add extensions on the weekends or when I go out would be a DREAM!!! Plus, the option to get ombre extensions is incredible, because ombre is my OBsession right now!!
Chelsea E.
October 1, 2013 at 9:25 amI’ve always had trouble growing my hair out, but love the flexibility of long hair! I would love these! I could do so much more to my hair than I can now.
Maggie Fewell
October 1, 2013 at 9:25 amBeing someone who has colored their hair multiple times just like you! I cant do much coloring after going from blonde back to my natural color of brown again. I am trying to grow out my hair back to its long original length, but i had to get a good healthy cut after my last color. Being a college student and living on a tight budget, laced hair extensions would be the best way to change up my hair style on a day to day basis. The extensions look so natural and Im excited to have the possibly to get the chance to own some! I Follow your blog religiously Cara and i love it!
Christina K
October 1, 2013 at 9:27 amI have super fine hair, would love to try these out

October 1, 2013 at 9:28 amEvery time you post about Laced I head over to the website and dream about owning my very own set. Being a single, working momma who is also pursuing her masters degree definitely puts the stop to that dream. I would love to win a set, otherwise I guess it would be a great present to myself down the road when I finally graduate! Thank you for the tutorial, I would have no idea how to put them in myself.
Elora Schafer
October 1, 2013 at 9:33 amI have been following Laced on all social media sites for a while and drool over her pictures. I wish I could afford them at the moment, they would really give me a boots of self esteem! I hope I am the lucky one! I would love to style them and send you before and after pictures. Oh man! Thank you Cara and Lacy for the giveaway!

October 1, 2013 at 9:47 amI would love to have some extensions! It would be a great way to have longer thicker hair when my hair is so fine and grows extremely slow!
Ashley S.
October 1, 2013 at 9:48 amI have never bought or used extensions. I’ve always been too afraid to try them out… Afraid they’ll look obviously fake, or they’ll come out easily. The Laced Hair extensions sound like they are worth the try! I have thin hair an have always wanted to try extensions in hopes of having thicker hair. Unfortunately, extensions (at least the decent ones) are usually expensive so I would love to win some!

October 1, 2013 at 9:56 amI would LOVE to have these!!! I’ve been growing out my hair for about 2 years now and not only does it feel like its taking a super long time to get where I want but it also seems like its hit a certain spot and just stopped. :-/ I’ve been contemplating clip in extensions but just can’t seem to commit to spending so much money to maybe end up being disappointed in what I get. Fingers crossed that I might get lucky with this giveaway…. 🙂
Max
October 1, 2013 at 10:00 amOh man I could really use some clip ins for my Medusa costume! Also would be great for every time I get ready to go out and have a fight with my hair because it isn’t long enough yet!
happytolivehealthy
October 1, 2013 at 10:00 amI’m in the long process of growing out a cropped bob, and have thin hair that I desperately want to be long and luxurious. I’ve been shopping around for awhile for some good quality extensions.. jackpot!
carolina
October 1, 2013 at 10:01 amLove this! I recently chopped off my super long hair after my wedding! I loved the look of long hair, but the work it took to maintain was too much of a pain! The clip in extension would be perfect for me to achieve that sultry look while day to day maintenance would be SO much easier!
Stacy Wilson
October 1, 2013 at 10:02 amThese would be so great! I prefer my hair cut in a short bob, but 2 years ago I moved to Santa Cruz, California and the style is long beachy waves. I researched and went to several different salons to find a stylist that could cut my hair and after 3 bad haircuts from highly recomended short hair stylist I decided that no one here knew how to cut short hair (because it’s not in demand) and decided to join the majority and grow mine out. These would help get me out of the ugly mid length phase!
Ava
October 1, 2013 at 10:03 amI would love these!! My hair has been so damaged from bad dye jobs that Ive had to cut it off and it’s taking forever to grow it back! 🙁 these look beautiful
Johanna
October 1, 2013 at 10:03 amMy hair is taking is taking, as you said, FOR-E-VER to grow out. It probably had something to do with all the bleach I have put in it over the years. I would love to have some clip ins – thank you for the opportunity
Sarah

October 1, 2013 at 10:09 amI already have long hair, but can’t quite make it to that glamorous “Kardashian length” on its own. I would love a set of these clip-ins! I’ve tried other synthetic kinds, but they always look cheap. Time for some good ones!!

October 1, 2013 at 10:17 amI have long hair but can’t really grow it any longer without it looking dry and damaged. I’ve always wanted to have that long long hair and clip-ins are the only way to do it! I’ve wanted to try some out for a while but haven’t found any that I really like so this would be amazing to have a set of these awesome ones!
Jessica
October 1, 2013 at 10:19 amLaced hair is a new brand to me. Thanks for the intro…I was thinking about trying Luxy hair–are they equally as good? Thanks for the great tips and advice always.
Kate
October 1, 2013 at 10:21 amThis is great! I recently had to chop off about 4 inches because my hair was so damaged from heat/color. I would love to add length back without it being permanent or damaging!

October 1, 2013 at 10:30 amI’ve never thought about getting extensions or clip ins before but ever since you intorduced us to Lacey and I’ve seen how gorgeous yours look its been on my mind more. I’ll be 40 next year (yikes!) and with age my hair has thinned out. I’m definitely thinking of trying the clip-ins even if I don’t win! Thanks for this awesome post today! Oh and it would be awesome if Lacey would’ve shown the back of her head at the end.

Christine Simko (@christinesimko)
October 1, 2013 at 10:34 amWow what a good post on a great clip-in company! I too have been interested in obtaining a good set of clip ins ever since I did a hair show in 2009 where Vidal Sassoon academy in Studio City chopped all my hair off and I looked like a shorter hair version of the brady bunch mom. Ruined my life needless to say! But even though my hair has since come many moons… I have now learned that celebrity perfect hair is generally just clip ins… so I STILL desire them. Also great natural-light photos! you show the before and after looks well and not too done up (realistic).
Candice
October 1, 2013 at 10:36 amIve been looking to replace my hair extensions. These will be perfect!
Katie
October 1, 2013 at 10:37 amI have been trying to grow out my hair for years! Would love to try these extensions as an option. Thanks Cara!
Stacy Wilson
October 1, 2013 at 10:39 amQuick question. I have very think, yet fine hair. Would one set be enough? Would it look odd to go from thick to think or is in to as noticeable since hair usually thinks as it lengthens? My hair is currently shoulder length.
Lacy
October 1, 2013 at 2:56 pmStacy, usually one set is enough, Cara has fine hair, but a lot of it too and they’ve blended beautifully!! You can always email a picture to [email protected] and I can help you decide what you need! Thank you!

October 1, 2013 at 11:11 amMy fingers are crossed to win the freebie! BUT when I went on Lacy’s website to order, I notice they are sold by lb? How much would I need to order? I think I would need the 3 large peices for the back and the 2 small for the sides? 🙂

October 1, 2013 at 11:44 amMy hair is a hot mess that can only be tamed by straightening, it seems. The heat/styling/coloring damage requires that I get the ends trimmed often less they be mistaken for tufts of hay, so my hair is perpetually shoulder-length. I’d love to try out long hair, I think it’s gorgeous. It just falls so beautifully. <3

October 1, 2013 at 11:49 amI would LOOOOOOVE to try these!

October 1, 2013 at 11:49 amI always wanted clip in hair but don’t know how to pick one. My hair is getting very thin. I hope I win so I can try it out! Thanks.

October 1, 2013 at 11:56 amI want these soooooo bad!! Once my hair reaches about an inch or two past my shoulders, I feel like it just stops there and never gets any longer.

October 1, 2013 at 11:56 amI have been trying to grow my hair out for years now!! Jamie
October 1, 2013 at 12:06 pmI would love to win these clip-ins – My hair, even though I have a lot, is pretty fine so these extension would be perfect or adding more fullness and length!
Lacie
October 1, 2013 at 12:07 pmI have always had really thin hair (especially on top) and never even tried extensions or clip-ins because I was afraid I didn’t have enough hair to cover them up. However, I think I’m going to give it a shot after seeing this video because I think as long as I keep them low enough they’ll work. Thanks for the great info!!
A quick question though: I have my hair a little shorter than shoulder length. Do you think I could still use clip-ins and trim them (obviously) to add just a little bit of length but mostly volume? Thanks!!!
Stephanie Brownell
October 1, 2013 at 12:10 pmI’ve always had shoulder length hair, and I have always wanted to try extensions without giving up my bob!

October 1, 2013 at 12:19 pmWhat a coincidence you blogged about this today. I was researching clip in hair extensions! I chopped off 5″ earlier this year after I moved to Vegas because my hair was STRAW. In actuality, I had build up from the hard water and just needed a clarifying shampoo. SO…I need extensions to make it longer again.

October 1, 2013 at 12:38 pmI’ve been looking at these extension since you first mentioned them on your blog but never have pulled the trigger. I’m growing (or desperately trying to grow) my short bob out for my upcoming wedding and now I’m at that always length where it just lies there’s and looks terrible. With my engagement pictures just around the corner I would love a chance to really love my hair and continue to fight the urge to chop it back off before my wedding!! Please pick me 🙂 🙂

October 1, 2013 at 12:46 pmI made an impulse decision to get the mom hair cut after my son and now I haven’t idea what to do with my short thick hair except throw it in a bun. I try to curl it and wear it down but I get so self conscious because it feels so weird having short hair! I know whoever gets these will love it.

October 1, 2013 at 12:48 pmMy old clip ins are soo tired looking and they get matted so easily. If I curl them and wear them out for a night I have to fight to untangle them from my natural hair to take them out! I would love to have a good quality set of clip ins 🙂
Caroline

October 1, 2013 at 12:54 pmI would love to find something that actually worked! October 1, 2013 at 1:06 pmLove the new site setup! Looks fabulous! I’m super pumped to enter my first giveaway of yours!! I just recently had my hair cut supposed to be a standard cut add some layers etc…. Now she was new but ugh she messed up and I lost probably 6-8 inches. A second stylist had to come in and fix it 🙁 so I could really use some extensions lol.

October 1, 2013 at 1:16 pmBeing in the military I can’t always have the hair I would like. This past year when I came back from Afghanistan, I lost one friend to suicide and one to the war. I cut all my hair off because I didn’t know what to do with it. I was literally in the moment of my life when i just wanted to ‘pull my hair out’. Worst decision I could have ever made, now trying everything to grow it back out, even taking pre-natals. Hopefully some clip ins can help mitigate this in between stage. Cara has been my go to for myself and all my girlfriends with this whole new HAC-ing and even wearing eyeliner correctly so we don’t look trashy.
Matasha Johnson
October 1, 2013 at 1:18 pmI too am in the process of growing my hair out. I stupidly decided to cut it last December, and would love some good clip-ins!
Danielle
October 1, 2013 at 1:20 pmCara & Lacey- you two are dolls!
I recently (& reluctantly) cut about 4 1/2 inches off of my hair, it was in dire need of some refreshing. I will admit, it looks much healthier, but I MISS the length. it’s still pretty long, but I have really fine hair, so the volume is not quite up to par. I would be thrilled to try these babies out. Crossing my fingers!

October 1, 2013 at 1:20 pmI have always wanted thicker longer hair! These would be fantastic! Love your blog and your emphasis on everyone not giving themselves enough credit Cara! Love reading your posts and learning from your tips!

October 1, 2013 at 1:24 pmI just chopped my hair for the first time in 10 years and while I love it, it would be super nice to have a change when I want it. 🙂 Love this giveaway!

October 1, 2013 at 1:25 pmI was already in the process of trying to save for these because of your suggestions, but it would be a great gift to win! I cut off my hair with my mother to support my grandmother who is going through chemotherapy when she started to lose all of her hair. Although I don’t regret chopping my hair off because I love my grandmother and wanted to support her journey through this time in her life I desprately miss being able to curl it! I have thick hair, that is now almost reaching to my chin-length. Do you think these extensions would blend well? Would I just need to get my hairextensions blended by a styilist?
Neysha
October 1, 2013 at 1:26 pmI hope I’m the lucky winner! I cut my hair 8 months ago and I miss my long hair SOOOOO MUCH 🙁

October 1, 2013 at 1:27 pmI have been growing my hair out for two years, but with regular cuts (my stylist is also my therapist?) It is taking FOR-EVER, you are right!! These would be great 🙂

October 1, 2013 at 1:28 pmI’ve always been a little jealous of my sisters sewn in extensions but have never wanted to commit to them. This seems like the perfect solution!

October 1, 2013 at 1:29 pmI have long hair, but I have noticed its thinning out a lot. I’ve always wanted to do extensions, but dont want the upkeep of them, clip-ins would be fantastic!

October 1, 2013 at 1:30 pmI would love a chance to win these beautiful clip ins!! im 20 years old, a college student, and a waitress. October 1, 2013 at 1:31 pmI would love these!! Ever since having my babies, my hair has lost most of it’s thickness. It just never came back in as full. I’ve been looking at these ever since you posted about them the last time. It would be awesome to be add some volume back in! Thanks!!
Catie Boerschlein
October 1, 2013 at 1:33 pmI have fairly thin hair and i wear clip ins to make up for it an add volume. This is the most in depth video I’ve seen for describing how to properly blend them and i cant wait to put my extensions in now. I have extensions from Sally’s, but I’m not totally pleases with them, they get roughed up really easy and aren’t nearly as silky and nice as they were when i first bought them, also i have to re-sew some of the clips because they are coming loose from the tracks. I know that Cara wouldn’t recommend these laced hair clip ins unless they were really worth it. Id love to win a pair !
Molly H
October 1, 2013 at 1:37 pmFun! I am forever looking for long hair options for my failure to grow hair. So fun! Thank you!
Catie Boerschlein
October 1, 2013 at 1:39 pmFirst off, this is by far the best “how to” video for properly putting in and blending clip in extensions. I would love these extensions ! I have pretty thin hair and i wear extensions for length and thickness. I have extensions from sallys currently but I’m not entirely pleased with them because they get ruffed up very easily and don’t stay as silky as id like. I know if Cara recommends these clip ins then they must be worth it since her blog is literally a beauty bible to me and such an inspiration ! HAC-ing has solved my self consciousness about my crooked nose for forever !

October 1, 2013 at 1:53 pmI have very fine hair and not a whole lot of it. I am always trying to grow my hair out because I love the look and versatility of long hair. But eventually, usually right past my shoulders, it just starts looking stringy and flat. I would love good clip-in extensions!
Janine Markham
October 1, 2013 at 1:55 pmI would love to try these! I tried clip in extensions before and hated the result I got from a certain brand. I’m curious to see how these end up being. Love!

October 1, 2013 at 1:57 pmI have always had long hair till recently I had styled it everyday with curling irons, straighteners, and my blow dryer. I didn’t realize the damage I was doing to my hair, till I actually stopped doing my hair for a week. The ends of my hair were destroyed and as much product I put into my hair it never repaired, so I was only left with the choice to cut it. 🙁 It was heart breaking as you could imagine. So I have been looking around for hair extensions that would work, but when I saw this post I had to enter! I trust what you recommend to your readers. Anyways, I love your new website look and look forward to future post.

October 1, 2013 at 2:02 pmI am so envious of women with long, thick, beautifully curled hair (Like you, Cara). I am a single mom, a nursing student, and a waitress. Because my personal time is so limited, I don’t have the time to care for my hair like it deserves. I have been trying to grow my hair out for almost 3 years (from a bob at the chin) and am just barely getting it to my shoulders; my hair grows at a glacial pace and I am SO frustrated with the rate of growth, that I have recently been debating chopping it all off again to save myself the distress. I would just LOVE to win these extensions. I’ve been following Lacey on FB and Instagram for awhile now and I am so impressed by the quality of her product. Pick me, pick me!! 🙂 🙂

October 1, 2013 at 2:27 pmI feel like my hair grows to a certain point (just above my chest) and then refuses to get any longer when I’d really just like a couple of extra inches out of it! I have tried lots of stuff to get it to grow those few extra inches, maybe some clip ins would be the way to go! Hope I win : )

October 1, 2013 at 2:27 pmI cut my hair into a pretty short style a few months ago (Think Kandee Johnson short) I’m on the fence about growing it out because I know how much of a pain in the neck it is. But, I’m wondering, how long does my hair need to be before I can use a set of clip ins? Obviously, I would like it to look as natural as possible, no crazy Brittany Spears looking extensions 😉 Thanks!!

Also, I would love an eyeliner tutorial for hooded lids. I know about tightlining…. But I just haven’t figured out how to have a winged-tip eyeliner with hooded lids! Thanks Cara!XOXO

October 1, 2013 at 3:43 pmI’m late to the comments, but I have a question!!! I’ve looked everywhere for clip-in extensions for my hair, and I can’t get anywhere CLOSE to the color. I have gray hair that actually tends more towards white. I colored it blonde for years, but decided I wanted to go with my natural color. So even though I’m not old *cough* 42 *cough* I am definitely rocking white hair. And I want extensions tooooooo. Sorry for the whine, but I’m hoping maybe somebody will be able to point me in the right direction. 🙂
PS – I love your blog! I’m always super happy when I see your name in my feed reader. 🙂

October 1, 2013 at 4:18 pmI”m a full time nursing student and time is never on my side when it comes to doing my hair, recently I decided to let it grow out in the hopes that it will be perfect to become a good wig for a cancer patient (in honor of my Mother-in-law), the process is very slow but once its long it will be very had to part with it and I think having some hair extensions will be great to help me re-grow it! Thanks for the opportunity!

October 1, 2013 at 4:48 pmAs it is I love your blog, but all of these amazing giveaways lately are blowing my mind as well!! 🙂 Senior year of high school I decided to cut my think, long hair about two days before graduation….WORST DECISION EVER. It’s been about two years and not only have I been trying to grow it out again, I have COMPLETELY killed it with tons of dye and highlights, why girls with dark hair want light hair is beyond me but it’ll never happen again haha!
Taryn Shih
October 1, 2013 at 4:55 pmThanks for the chance to win a beautiful set of Lacedhair extensions! As us girls try to grow out our hair, we constantly deal with breakage and damage! Lacedhair is the answer to my damaged hair’s prayers!
Plus, my husband likes me with shorter hair, and I have trouble thinking about chopping off years of commitment growing it out. Extensions would be just the ticket!
Em
October 1, 2013 at 4:57 pmI would love to have extensions for my wedding in the spring! It would be easier to justify the cost (if I don’t win ;)) if I felt confident enough to wear them in day-to-day life. It would be so great if you could do some more posts on extensions in the future. How-tos on styling with them, care, etc.

October 1, 2013 at 5:14 pmI have strawberry blonde hair that is ombred mostly blonde now. I love it, but what I do NOT love is the damage from the bleach that caused so many split ends that my hair actually got shorter over time! I’m in the recovery phase, taking super careful of it, and am still growing it out, but it is KILLING me to not have it long. Not just as long as it used to be…longer! Cara your hair is incredible and you’ve helped me in HUGE ways with mine, but I’m tired of living vicariously through your beautiful and versatile locks- I want my own now! 🙂
erinwray2
October 1, 2013 at 5:18 pmOh I would love a set of these. I want longer hair but always end up cutting it off because it gets so dead and frizzy. Great idea

October 1, 2013 at 6:04 pmOh my! Where do I start? I am a stalker of Mascara blog and Pinterest and IG and FB and I equally stalk Laced Hair Pinterest, IG, and FB! I would fall over and die if I won these but not before showing them off and telling all of my friends about their awesomeness. In all seriousness, I am a huge fan of both of you ladies and would be honored to have these.

October 1, 2013 at 6:13 pmI have had long hair most of my life, I love having options on what to do with it. But now that I’m older its getting thinner. Clip on extensions are a great idea and the best of both worlds.

Adrienne Albrecht
October 1, 2013 at 6:14 pmI would love to win some extensions! A year ago I decided to chop my hair because I had a newborn and just didn’t want to waste all that time blow drying. I’ve regretted it ever since! I totally sympathize with the for.ev.er statement above:)
Jamie Sielski

October 1, 2013 at 6:20 pmThanks for this giveaway! I’m in the same boat as you, I colored my hair far too much this past year and need to give it a break so any changes I do will have to be from the haircut/extension front. Great post!
Samantha
October 1, 2013 at 6:21 pmThose are the most natural looking hair extensions I’ve ever seen!!
Jill
October 1, 2013 at 6:26 pmMy horribly damaged hair hasn’t grown past a certain stubborn length in years. Would love some extensions to get that long flowy feel to my hair! Thanks, Cara!
Emily
October 1, 2013 at 6:33 pmI would absolutely LOVE to win these extensions! I cut my super long hair off right after I graduated high school and it has taken forever and a day to just get it to my shoulders. My hair grows SO SLOW, not to mention it’s paper thin. I take Biotin, but I can’t tell much of a difference when I take it and when I don’t. Anyways, I am a broke college student in Nursing school working as much as I can at Children’s Hospital, and hair extensions just aren’t in my budget. 🙁 I have e-mailed LacedHair before to look into it, but it’s just not something I can afford. My hair is FRIED from bleaching it (I’m currently in the process of darkening it up) so I know hair extensions would be a fabulous touch that my hair so desperately needs. I have always wanted thick hair because it’s SO pretty, so maybe extensions could help fix my THIN hair. I love keeping up with you and your blog. Thank you for these opportunities, Cara!
Jannah
October 1, 2013 at 6:36 pmI would love cause these are the first extensions I’ve seen that look silky and not dry… Seriously amazing!!

Megan
October 1, 2013 at 6:48 pmI’m so glad you are finally introducing these clip ins! I’ve always wanted long hair but because I keep it blonde and dye it often it doesn’t seem to grow. These laced clip in’s seem easy to use. I can’t wait to try them!
Beth Cruz, LMT

October 1, 2013 at 6:58 pmI love your blog, Cara!! I’m a huge fan!! I’m an NBA Dancer for the Memphis Grizzlies, so having long, beautiful, curly hair to whip around and “flirt” with is a MUST. Unfortunately, we have to use a lot of heat and product on our hair to keep it looking great- which is why I would LOVE to win a set of these gorgeous clip-in extensions! I recently cut my hair short because of how damaged it was (my coach had asked me to dye my hair blonde last year- I’m naturally a dark brunette!), and these would be absolutely perfect for this coming basketball season!

October 1, 2013 at 7:05 pmI have been eyeing up Lacedhair’s I-do clip ins ever since you first mentioned them on your blog! Time and time again I find myself wanting to splurge and just get them, but I can never quite get myself to pull the trigger (for budget reasons). I would LOVE some to thicken up my thinning hair, and to add a little length. 🙂

I have been wanting to try extensions because they give the option of length or short. You have inspired me in so many ways, I would love to win these in time for our Christmas photo shoot 🙂

October 1, 2013 at 7:34 pmI’ve been OBSESSING over getting hair extensions for weeks now. I’ve been trying to convince my husband that I need them, and now your extension tutorial was first in my YouTube feed. So I said to him,”see, it’s a sign”!! Regardless if I win or not, I’m totally taking this as my sign to go out and get extensions for my horridly flat and lifeless hair 🙂
Courtney

October 2, 2013 at 4:25 amI just got married to the love of my life a few months ago. He naturally has gorgeous man-hair, of course, and looks like every girl’s dream of a real life ken Barbie doll. My thin, damaged hair hardly compares to barbies… Alas I am left to my feeble attempts at teasing, curling and forcing my hair to look like something…. But I usually end up looking more like that teen Stacie Barbie with crimpt frizzy hair from the 90’s… I would love a chance to win these clips!
Nicole Kern

October 2, 2013 at 8:55 amI have tried so many types of extensions in the past, but never found a set which really gave me that WOW factor! I have recently dove back into the world of fashion and beauty from a 3 year hiatus of being a newlywed and having the “I landed my man, now I’m laid back” attitude. To me, nothing makes a woman feel better than when she looks good!!

October 2, 2013 at 9:00 amI’ve been trying to grow out my hair for a while now, but every time I get some good length, it starts feeling ratty and frayed on the ends, so I get it cut. October 2, 2013 at 10:15 amOoooh!! Pick me pick me! I made the mistake of lopping off my locks about a year and a half ago. Been trying to get them back ever since. I was making great progress til I moved a month ago and had to find a new stylist. Asked New Stylist for a trim, walked out in tears… ugh.
