A. Dry Shampoo {Loreal Professional Fresh Dust}
You know that icky build up you get after your second day of dry shampoo that you might even trade for having oily hair instead of SOS pad scalp? Well, you won’t fin that here. My good friend Chantry just went TEN days without washing and when I saw her hair it looked like 2nd day hair at best thanks to this stuff.
B. Watercolor Cheek Blush {Josie Maran}
Oh my goodness. This feels like you are putting moisturizer on when you apply it. It’s perfect for a day at the beach when you don’t want to bother with makeup, just dab a hint of this on your cheeks and lips, you won’t need anything else! Plus it’s make from good ingredients!
C. Makeup Setting Spray {NYX}
If I forget to use this, I feel like I have just wasted all the time I spent on my makeup cause it’s gonna melt off without a little help! I love setting sprays because you get the last without the dullness that powder can cause.
D. O-Plump Gloss {Smashbox} (Sephora Link)
One Stop Shop. This is the perfect color on everyone (because it comes out clear and matches to your skin tone!) plus it gives you the plump so you won’t need a liner.
E. Black Eye Shadow Blackout {Urban Decay}
If your eyeliner or mascara tends to run all you need to do is set it with a little bit of black eye shadow. For your liner use an angled brush and press the shadow in over your line. For mascara use a small shadow brush and gently dab over the tips of your lashes after the mascara is applied.

June 14, 2013 at 4:26 amHappy Friday! What color would you recommend in the watercolor cheek gelee? They all look so pretty! Looks like poppy and pink paradise are popular from reviews. Thanks!

June 14, 2013 at 6:26 amYay! I’ve been eyeing the Urban Decay setting spray but I couldn’t quite bring myself to pay for it. I saw that NYX made some but I was hesitant to buy it without your recommendation. (Is that weird? I’ve just never been disappointed with something you recommended.)
Speaking of pricey items… I tend to love everything from Smashbox so that will definitely be going on my make up wish list.
Question about translucent powder: I use corn starch at home but I’m a little afraid to travel with loose powder in an Altoids tin. Have you had any good experiences with pressed translucent powder?

June 14, 2013 at 3:45 pmYou can buy little powder containers on Amazon! That’s what I use for my cornstarch powder.

June 14, 2013 at 4:44 pmI use cornstarch too! I put it in an empty hair paste container that my boyfriend uses. Anything that has a lid and you can dip your powder brush in will work!

June 14, 2013 at 6:31 amJust ordered a few of the items you suggested. Been looking and trying all kinds of dry shampoo so I’m excited to hear someone has an opinion on one. I can’t seem to find anyone around where I live that even knows what it is. HA!

June 14, 2013 at 7:21 amI love that NYX setting spray – but my favorite is the NYX Makeup Setting Spray MATTE FINISH. Its a Matte finish which I love a little more :). Thanks for the great tips!

June 14, 2013 at 8:56 amGood tips!!! I have never seen this dry shampoo, and I cannot wait to try it. I almost always feel like the ones I’ve tried just make my hair dirty and don’t really help, even on the first day I use them.

June 14, 2013 at 8:57 amThat dry shampoo is expensive! $19 + $5 for shipping. EEEK. Never seen it in the drugstores.

June 14, 2013 at 11:10 amHow do you suggest I use dry shampoo after working out? I leave the gym and my hair is soaking wet with sweat. I cannot seem to do the whole “blow dry it and use dry shampoo” thing to soak up all the grease. My hair just ends up looking really really dull and still feels very dirty (but doesn’t look greasy).

June 14, 2013 at 1:18 pmHoly cow – ten days without shampooing! I feel like if I go one day without it my hair is a mess, must be the waves.

June 14, 2013 at 2:55 pmDo you like that blush better than tarte cheek stain?
Patricia
June 14, 2013 at 3:40 pmThat’s a great question Meredith!. Which one is better Cara? If we wanted to buy only one, which do you suggest?
Cara
June 28, 2013 at 2:10 amI gotta go with Tarte Still if you can only do one because it’s going to last much longer with more color pay off. This one is great in addition but Tarte is my fav:)

June 14, 2013 at 2:57 pmHmmm…. I want that dry shampoo, but then again I use cornstarch with a little cocoa powder. It’s okay but I have SUPER OILY hair. I know there is a “transition” period to not washing your hair everyday and I’m in my third week. I wonder if there is a big difference…..❔

June 14, 2013 at 3:52 pmI just read about this Josie Maran blush! I’ve never tried cream blush, so I’m scared, but your recommendation makes me all the more eager to try! 🙂

June 14, 2013 at 5:50 pmOooh I really wanna try some of Josie Maran’s stuff, but I find a lot of it out of my price range for what it is. I’ve heard lots of good things about the gelee though, and the texture is what’s drawing me into it.

June 15, 2013 at 7:24 amOh I’m really wanting to try that watercolor blush! You are the second person to recommend that within the past day! Is that dry shampoo available in stores? I’ve never seen that before!

June 15, 2013 at 8:27 amI swear by Urban Decay’s setting spray– is this NYX one a good replacement? I’d love to find one that’s just as good but cheaper!
Sandy
June 16, 2013 at 6:09 amI just went out and picked up the urban decay one since we don’t have the NYX one in Canada- love the recommendation on the setting spray- what a difference! I’m amazed and the UD is pretty incredible 🙂

June 15, 2013 at 12:58 pmI always thought setting spray was a gimmick. Can you tell us more about it? Would it replace using a powder over your foundation or what does it do? Thanks!

December 4, 2019 at 8:32 amPromptly you are done saturating the tank in the PG, put it on a napkin and also enable it to completely dry. This is the most effective approach if you intend to eliminate those leftover tastes from your storage tank due to the fact that glycol is the most effective flavor service provider.
