Brush Up.

As promised, here you have my favorite brushes.
Most of them are Morphe (from The white one with the bling up top came from a Costco brush set I got a couple years ago… that they don’t carry anymore and there are a couple in there that claim to be Nars brand, but since I got them from Japan online I am guessing that isn’t actually the case….my point is…the brand isn’t the most important thing as long as it’s a quality brush and its basically the same shape it should do the job. I have gone ahead and starred my very favorites for a very basic kit.

1. *The Blush – Love it for it’s synthetic fibers that can work creams LIGHTLY into your skin. I use it with powder blush as well. {You can also get one like Β this at target}

2.* The Double Agent – I use this one to draw in my brows and as eyeliner. It has a flexible angled tip and gives a natural blended look.

3. The Lid – This brush is perfect for shimmers and wet or cream shadows on the lid.

4. *The Crease – Love this brush to shadow up my crease.

5. The Egg – Named for it’s shape, this brush is prime for all over lid application.

6. The Bronze – I like the flat head for bronzer because it is easy to get it right where you want it.

7.* The Sculpt – I use this brush for contouring out cheek bones!

8. *The Smudge – This beauty is the KEY to a fail proof smokey eye.

9.* The Powder – For a setting powder a coat of all over bronzer or powder foundation.

10. The Highlight – I use this for highlighting my cheek bones.

    Hi there! Great round up of your brushes. I have such a problem with my brushes shedding. Do you have this problem at all with the Morphe collection or any others that you use. It is actually my brushes from Costco that shed the most!
    Thanks, great site, btw.

    I absolutely LOVE your blog! When I discovered it I spent 2 and a half hours watching every tutorial you posted, and went out and bought almost everything you recommended! πŸ™‚ I checked online for these brushes and unfortunately they are sold out right now! Do you know of any other place that may sell them? Also I would love for you to post more eye makeup tutorials!
